Working in India, Nepal, Thailand and Cambodia, Sons and Daughters provides practical, pastoral and financial support to indigenous missionaries in challenging regions of Asia.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Matthew 28:19
Sons & Daughters exists to equip and empower indigenous missionaries to go into the 10/40 window - some of the most unreached places in the world - to spread the good news of the gospel. The organization began when children of the K-Family started reaching adulthood and felt called to full- time ministry in South Asia. It has now expanded to include others from AIM's extended community.
AIM Indigenous Missions is being led by Sons and Daughters field directors, Gyan, Kareem and Krish who all grew up in the K-Family (pictured here in 2005 with Tammy). They are responsible for vetting new members and for guiding present workers.
Strategically based in one of the least reached areas of the world, AIM's workers, although local to the region, are giving themselves away, often across cultural and ethnic lines, to serve the poor and marginalized. They have amazing skills, talent, heart, and calling. AIM has a network of 20 workers serving in different regions throughout India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia and beyond.
There are some tangible advantages to supporting indigenous Christian workers. These local workers often already know the language spoken, or have an easier time acquiring it. They have open doors due to their cultural heritage and ethnicity. In addition the cost of supporting them is a mere fraction of what it often takes to support a foreign family to move to and minister in the area.
